Description

Hand dipping shingles is the only way to really get an oil stain to penetrate the entire shingle for the best protection possible. This process may take longer but you will get a finish that is consistent from the first shingle to the last with full six-sided coverage. We start out with kiln-dried 18" Western Red Cedar Shingles resawn and rebutted and then hand dip each shingle in a color of your choice. Each shingle is allowed to dry completely before they are stacked down, reboxed and ready to ship. All products are finished to order for your custom home.

This beautiful color is called Cordovan Brown and gives these natural cedar shingles a rich dark brown tone. The semi-transparent stain will allow the natural wood grain to be seen while providing protection against moisture and harmful UV rays.
