Shiplap has become very popular in recent years as a rustic interior wall board and provides a unique look whether it is installed bare (no coating) or prefinished either with a polyurethane clear, semi-transparent stain or painted a solid color. We start with new southern yellow pine nickel gap shiplap in your choice of width, either 6 inch or 8 inch and apply two coats of a clear satin finish polyurethane coating. Our process coats not only the face of the board but the back, edges and ends so that each board is sealed and protected.
