LP® Smartside® Lap siding gives you all the natural look of real cedar without the cost and maintenance. This material is one of the most durable products on the market today and provides some advantages over fiber cement siding. LP® Smartside® Lap Siding is manufactured in 16-foot lengths which results in a reduction of seams, up to 33% less than traditional fiber cement (most fiber cement siding is manufactured in 12-foot lengths). These products do not require a diamond-tipped saw blade to cut the material. Another advantage, especially to the installer, is that one person can carry the boards without the fear of accidentally breaking in half and this material is lighter in weight than fiber cement. Available as a strand substrate each board has been manufactured with LP® proprietary SmartGuard® process which includes an application of zinc borate throughout the material that will help the boards resist fungal decay and termite damage.

Evergreen Fog is Sherwin-Williams color of the year for 2022. This neutral light sage green solid color has a beautiful rich satin finish. Trim, Fascia, and Soffit material can be pre-finished in the same color or choose a nice complementary color such as a bright white to an off-white solid color.
