New for 2024! LP® Smartside® Nickel Gap siding gives you all the natural look of real cedar without the cost and maintenance. This material is one of the most durable products on the market today and provides some advantages over fiber cement siding. LP® Smartside® Lap Siding is manufactured in 16-foot lengths which results in a reduction of seams, up to 33% less than traditional fiber cement (most fiber cement siding is manufactured in 12-foot lengths). These products do not require a diamond-tipped saw blade to cut the material. Another advantage, especially to the installer, is that one person can carry the boards without the fear of accidentally breaking in half and the LP® material is lighter in weight than fiber cement. Available as a strand substrate each board has been manufactured with LP® proprietary SmartGuard® process which includes an application of zinc borate throughout the material that will help the boards resist fungal decay and termite damage.

Our Maple stain color has a natural yellow color with darker accents that fill in the grain of the board giving it a true natural wood stained look. If you prefer the look of a lighter colored wood but with less maintenance than real wood, these stains are the best way to achieve that look.
