We take the charm of Cedar Nickel Gap tongue and groove siding and then factory machine finish each board in this beautiful Granite stain. This stain gives the wood a silver-gray patina that weathers with a very subtle blue-green cast but still allows the natural wood grain to still show through. This Granite color is very close to the desired look of the discontinued Cabot Bleaching Oil. When the stain is machine applied to all six sides, it protects the wood against moisture and harmful UV rays. The oil in the stain penetrates the wood and the finished product has a water repellent finish.
