We take the natural beauty of Douglas Fir tongue and groove nickel gap siding and factory finish it with a beautiful Dark Gray stain to give your home a true custom look. This type of stain allows most of the natural texture of the wood to be seen and changes the color to a rich dark gray/brown tone. The stain is factory applied to all six sides giving it protection against water and sun damage along with saving time and money at the job site. The oil in the stain penetrates the wood and protects more than just the surface of the board making it water repellent and provides a beautiful rich finish.
The grade is #1 and better. This knotty product provides a rustic look and is kiln-dried. Board lengths are available in 8' to 16' random lengths.
This product features a smooth face providing more of a modern look over a rough sawn face which is typically used for a rustic look. You have the option of either a square edge nickel gap (very similar to shiplap) or a square edge no gap profile. The no gap option does not have a noticeable gap between each row and tends to look like a solid wood wall.
